Ethnobotanical and ethnomedical knowledge of the Malays could be known either through oral sources or documented sources. The traditional Malay medicine are useful for modern pharmaceuticals development in Malaysia conservation biodiversity. This study aims to extract categorise ethnobotanical contents medical chapter Tajul Muluk, ancient text. Transliteration data extraction were carried out order identify classify information manuscript has 292 interventions 56 different diseases such as cough, fever, mental health issues. There descriptions available formulations using 209 plant-based materials, 12 animal-based materials 40 other types. Many name use now rare not well-known today’s society. Medical listed Muluk will a proof herbs used by local population utilised resources. Hence retrieving documental should explored finding cures alternatives therapeutics various diseases.
